Wiener-Hopf Equation Technique for Generalized Variational Inequalities and Nonexpansive Mappings

In this paper, we consider a new class of generalized variational inequalities and a new class of generalized Wiener-Hopf equations involving set-valued and nonexpansive mappings in real Hilbert space. Using the projection technique, we show that the generalized variational inequalities are equivalent to the generalized Wiener-Hopf equations. Further, by using this alternative equivalence we suggest and analyze an iterative scheme for finding the solution of the generalized variational inequalities and the solution of related generalized Wiener-Hopf equations. Furthermore we shll discuss the case when the mappings are single -valued. The technique and results presented in this paper generalize and unify the corresponding techniques and results given in [4,5,7,13]. Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H05; 47H10
